14th US – Asia Entertainment Game Changer Awards

In a splendid celebration of cultural exchange and mutual appreciation, 14th US – Asia Entertainment Game Changer Awards Ceremony and Gala recently unfolded at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles.   • Kenji Yamada and Takashi Yamakazi, the dynamic duo behind Godzilla Minus One, recognized for their innovative storytelling and filmmaking, captivating audiences worldwide with their reimagination of a cinematic icon.

AWE Champions: Leading the Charge in Entertainment

The ceremony also spotlighted the AWE Champions, a select group of individuals making significant contributions to the representation and success of Asians and Asian Americans in the entertainment industry:

  • Michelle Sugihara, Executive Director of CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment), for her leadership in advocating for Asian American representation in film and television.
  • Gita Rebbapragada, COO of Crunchyroll, for her role in bringing Asian animation to a global audience, thereby fostering a greater appreciation for the art form.
