Twiggy Ramirez is the stage name of Jeordie Osbourne White, an American bassist, guitarist and songwriter. He is best known for his years in Marilyn Manson’s band. He left Marilyn Manson in 2002, rejoined in 2008 and was dismissed in 2017. He has also played with A Perfect Circle and Nine Inch Nails.
His exit followed a public accusation from a former girlfriend. Jessicka Addams, singer of Jack Off Jill, accused him of rape and abuse in an October 2017 Facebook post. White said he did not condone non-consensual sex of any kind. No criminal charge or court finding against him appears in the sources reviewed.
Many searches combine his 90s look, his bass work, his marriage, and his current status. This article separates what is documented from what is only reported or alleged. It also covers the “now,” “2025,” and “2026” searches. Where a detail could not be confirmed, the article says so.

Who Is Twiggy Ramirez?
The name pays homage to 1960s supermodel Twiggy and to the serial killer Richard Ramirez. The persona was part of the band’s shock-rock identity.
He was the bassist of Marilyn Manson from 1993 to 2002 before moving on to A Perfect Circle. He is also credited as a major part of the band’s songwriting team.
How Did He Join Marilyn Manson?
White met Manson in the late 1980s while working in a used-records store in the Coral Springs Mall. He was a fan of the band before he was a member.
He joined only after Gidget Gein was ejected in December 1993, and Manson bought him his first bass right after he joined. He had been a guitarist before that.
| Year | Development |
| 1989–1993 | Rhythm guitar and backing vocals in Amboog-a-Lard |
| March 1993 | Took part in Manson’s side project Mrs. Scabtree |
| December 1993 | Joins the band after Gidget Gein’s exit |
| 1993–2002 | Bassist, performing as Twiggy Ramirez |
Twiggy Ramirez in the 90s: The Dress and the Look
The 1990s Twiggy Ramirez look was deliberately theatrical. It included dresses, heavy makeup and a ghoulish stage character. That is why searches like “twiggy ramirez dress,” “90s” and “1997” remain common.
One fan wiki says the look drew heavily from former bassist Gidget Gein and from Addams, his then-girlfriend. Treat that as a fan-wiki claim, not an established fact. White himself later said the character felt real at the time.
In a 2006 interview he said the persona began to feel a little ridiculous, like Gene Simmons. That is one reason he gave for leaving.
Why Did He Leave Marilyn Manson the First Time?
He ended the partnership on May 29, 2002, per a fan wiki. Rolling Stone dates the departure to 2003. The sources disagree, so this article uses “2002–2003.”
The same wiki says he reportedly left to preserve his friendship with Manson and because the band felt routine. This is a reported motive, not a confirmed one.
A Perfect Circle, Nine Inch Nails and Goon Moon
After Manson, White built a second career across several bands. He played bass in A Perfect Circle in 2003–2004 and toured live with Nine Inch Nails from 2005 to 2007. He also played in Goon Moon.
He returned to A Perfect Circle for a sold-out fall and winter 2010 North American tour.
| Project | Role | Period |
| Marilyn Manson | Bass, later guitar | 1993–2002, 2008–2017 |
| A Perfect Circle | Bass | 2003–2004; 2010 tour |
| Nine Inch Nails | Live bass | 2005–2007 |
| Goon Moon | Bass | 2005 onward |
| Queens of the Stone Age | Guest bass | 2002 |
Twiggy Ramirez Bass: Playing Style and Gear
He has been described as a “bassist with a guitarist’s attitude.” He had never played bass before Manson bought him his first instrument.
One fan wiki lists a Gibson Thunderbird IV Reverse as his bass. Treat that as a fan-source detail.
How Did He Return to Marilyn Manson in 2008?
Manson announced on MySpace in January 2008 that Tim Skold was leaving and Twiggy had rejoined. He rejoined for the “Rape of the World Tour” and dropped the surname “Ramirez.”
He later played on and co-produced The High End of Low. He played lead guitar for Manson from 2009 to 2013.

| Date | Event | Evidence Status |
| July 26, 2014 | Reported marriage | Reported (fan wiki only) |
| October 2017 | White’s statement says he wanted to spend time with family | Direct statement |
The Allegations: What Is Confirmed and What Is Not
This is the most searched part of his story, so the wording matters. The claims below are allegations, not findings of fact.
Addams wrote that a romantic relationship that began when she was 18 turned physically and emotionally abusive and, eventually, she says, into rape. She wrote that the assault happened during a tour break.
- Confirmed: Addams made the public accusation in October 2017.
- Confirmed: White issued a statement denying that he condones non-consensual sex.
- Alleged: The abuse and the assault themselves.
- Not found: Any criminal charge, arrest or court ruling in the sources reviewed.
Twiggy Ramirez’s Statement
White said he had only recently learned of the allegations from over 20 years ago. He added, “If I have caused anyone pain I apologise and truly regret it.” That is one sentence, and it is not an admission of the specific claims.
He also said he would focus on his family and on maintaining several years of sobriety.
Is Twiggy Ramirez Still in Marilyn Manson?
No. Manson announced on Twitter that he had decided to part ways with White and that he would be replaced for the upcoming tour. The dates are October 24–25, 2017.
Manson did not explicitly link the decision to the allegations. He later told Kerrang! he did not divorce Twiggy as a friend or brother, but said their musical relationship had not been good for several years.
Why Did Twiggy Ramirez Leave Marilyn Manson?
There are two distinct exits, and searchers often mix them up.
| Exit | Date | Documented Reason |
| First | 2002–2003 | Reported creative fatigue and a wish to preserve the friendship |
| Second | October 2017 | Dismissed days after Addams’s accusation; Manson also cited a strained musical relationship |
Evidence Check: Dismissal and Allegations
- Confirmed: White was dismissed in October 2017.
- Source: Rolling Stone, Variety and Blabbermouth reporting from October 2017, plus Manson’s own post.
- What it shows: The dismissal followed Addams’s post within days.
- What remains unclear: Manson’s exact motive. He did not state one at the time, and later said it was partly musical.
Twiggy Ramirez Now: 2025 and 2026 Status
Searches for “now,” “2025” and “2026” need a clear answer. In the reliable sources reviewed, no newer verified development appears after the 2017 dismissal. That covers a return to Marilyn Manson, a reunion announcement or a legal action involving White.
A fan wiki lists him as active as a musician, songwriter and producer. One listing is not evidence of current projects. His official Facebook page still describes him as a musician and producer.
One search result for a Metal Injection article carried a “June 12, 2026” date. The article’s content describes the October 2017 dismissal, so the date appears to be a page artifact. It is not treated as a 2026 update.
