Presented by Fortune Star Media Limited, the restoration was created using the original 35mm picture and optical soundtrack negatives.
The original film elements were repaired, cleaned, and scanned in Hong Kong before undergoing digital restoration at L’Immagine Ritrovata in Bologna, Italy, one of the world’s leading film restoration laboratories.
Color grading was completed by Interface Video Production Ltd in Hong Kong under the supervision of Stanley Kwan, ensuring the restored version faithfully preserves the film’s original visual style while enhancing image quality for modern audiences.
