THE BMW 7 SERIES WORLD PREMIERE

We begin where the automotive world began its week — with BMW’s simultaneous world premiere of the BMW 2027 7 Series, unveiled at Auto China 2026 in Beijing and at Grand Central Terminal in New York City. One announcement. Two cities. And what an announcement it is.

BMW is calling this the most extensive model update the company has ever undertaken — and after spending time with the details, that claim holds up. The 2027 7 Series introduces BMW’s Neue Klasse design language to its flagship sedan for the first time. The controversial oversized kidney grille is gone, replaced by a slimmer, more resolved design. New crystal headlights and a matte BMW logo bring a restraint and elegance the flagship needed.

Inside, BMW has installed its next-generation Panoramic iDrive — a 17.9-inch touchscreen paired with a 14.6-inch passenger display standard, plus Panoramic Vision projection stretching pillar to pillar across the windshield. The optional Theatre Screen now handles Zoom calls and functions as an extended display. For the executive who treats the rear seat as a mobile office, this justifies the entire investment.

The lineup covers every preference. The 740 xDrive starts at $104,350 with 394 horsepower. The i7 50 xDrive at $107,750 delivers 449 horsepower and adds 146 miles of range in ten minutes of charging. The i7 60 xDrive — 536 horsepower, 350-plus miles of range, $126,250 — is the one we’d specify. Production begins at BMW’s Dingolfing plant in July. The conversation with your dealer starts now. LUXURY REAL ESTATE

The spring market in America’s premier luxury destinations is showing the resilience that has defined prime residential real estate throughout the current cycle. In Miami Beach, ultra-premium waterfront properties above $10 million are moving quickly, driven by domestic demand and continued international interest from Latin American, European, and Middle Eastern buyers choosing Miami as a primary residence. The Faena District is particularly active in the $15 to $25 million range.

In Manhattan Beach and the South Bay — Elevated’s home market — The Strand continues to represent some of the most coveted real estate in California, with walk-street and strand properties in the $8 to $20 million range attracting qualified buyers from throughout Los Angeles and beyond. In London, Mayfair and Belgravia continue to attract global capital, with the finest properties trading off-market through specialist buying agents. Discover more in Elevated Estates Magazine.

YACHTING — THE SEASON OPENS

The Mediterranean superyacht season is opening strong. The Croatian coastline — Hvar, Korčula, the Kornati archipelago — is this season’s most requested destination, offering a quality of experience comparable to Greece or Italy with more availability and better value. In the Southern Hemisphere, the Whitsundays charter season is reporting exceptional bookings from both Australian and international clients discovering that the Great Barrier Reef by private charter is one of the genuinely irreplaceable luxury experiences on earth. AUTOMOTIVE

Beyond the BMW, several developments are worth noting. Lamborghini has confirmed production details for the Revuelto Roadster — 1,001 combined horsepower, the most powerful open-air production car in the world. Allocation for the initial run is effectively closed. The Corvette ZR1X — 1,250 horsepower, $207,100 — remains the performance bargain of the current era, producing results competitive with anything Europe offers at any price. And the Lucid Air Grand Touring‘s 516-mile EPA range continues to represent the definitive answer to range anxiety. If you’ve been waiting for an electric vehicle that covers American distances without compromise — the wait is over. ElevatedMagazines.com
