Calabasas, CA – The future of wellness arrived in the Calabasas–Woodland Hills community with the highly anticipated grand opening of Next Health’s newest location, a state-of-the-art longevity and health optimization center dedicated to proactive, science-backed therapies.
The evening was both glamorous and inspiring, drawing celebrities, wellness leaders, and community advocates for a night centered on longevity, education, and connection. Guests mingled over an oversized charcuterie and grazing table, sipping on Caliwater cactus water and refreshing matcha tea, as the energy of innovation filled the air.
A Ribbon Cutting with Purpose
The celebration began with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony led by franchise founders Barry & Lori Turbow and Donnie & Megan Wilson, alongside the Chamber of Commerce. Next Health co-founder Kevin Peake emceed the program, highlighting the company’s mission to empower individuals to live longer, healthier lives by making longevity and proactive health more accessible.
For Lori Turbow, the grand opening was especially meaningful, as her personal journey battling Lyme disease inspired her to bring Next Health’s innovative solutions to the community.
Brooke Burke Shines a Spotlight on Wellness
Wellness expert and television personality Brooke Burke was spotted enjoying the Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber with fiancé Scott Rigsby before taking the stage to share her personal journey with autoimmune disorders. Burke credited Next Health’s cutting-edge therapies, including Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), with playing a powerful role in her wellness and recovery.
Celebrity Guests & Inspiring Conversations
The launch attracted a vibrant mix of guests:
-
Kristen Taekman, former Real Housewives of New York star, engaged in conversation with Next Health founder Dr. Darshan Shah, expressing her curiosity about advanced longevity treatments such as EBOO Therapy and Plasma Exchange.
-
Laurie Locklear and Zina Wilde (Billions) were also in attendance, lending support and celebrating the community-focused initiative.
Inside Next Health’s Offerings
During the event, Dr. Darshan Shah, a board-certified surgeon and visionary in the longevity space, provided insight into Next Health’s unique approach.
“Next Health has a very comprehensive set of offerings. We have something for everybody, basically. I look at it as four verticals: functional medicine, preventative health, biohacking, and longevity medicine,” Shah explained.
He went on to highlight the clinic’s groundbreaking therapies:
“Plasma exchange is definitely a game changer for people. We combine plasma exchange with stem cells and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and that protocol has been life-changing. Plasma exchange is like getting an oil change for your body—removing all the plasma, where toxins live, and replenishing it with healthy fluid.”
Beyond plasma exchange, Shah emphasized preventative testing for heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and cancer, along with holistic support for gut health, toxins, and hormones.
The Vision: 100+ Clinics Worldwide
This Calabasas–Woodland Hills clinic marks Next Health’s 12th location, with more than 20 locations projected by the end of the year and over 100 globally in development.
“We’re on a mission to make these transformative services available worldwide,” Shah shared. “Everyone deserves the chance to not only live longer but to thrive in their daily lives.”
A Future of Community & Longevity
The evening closed with conversations about the evolving landscape of health and longevity. Guests left inspired by the possibilities Next Health brings to the community—an ecosystem of wellness, science, and empowerment under one roof.
With its newest clinic, Next Health continues to expand its vision of the future, one that integrates proactive health practices, community connection, and innovative therapies to ensure a longer, healthier, and more vibrant life.
