The WestEdge Design Fair celebrated the milestone of its 10th Edition as it returned to Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar, kicking off with a highly attended Opening Night Party. The three-day event, held November 20–22, 2025, showcased the best in contemporary design through a curated selection of domestic and international brands, independent designers, and innovative makers.

The festivities began with a venue-spanning Opening Night Party that welcomed more than 2,600 design enthusiasts. The evening supported Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) and its ReBUILD LA™ Recovery Fund, raising funds for wildfire recovery and affordable housing efforts. Guests also viewed Opening Night video highlights captured by filmmaker Marco Curiel.
Co-founder Megan Reilly reflected on the significance of this year’s event, stating, “The response to the Opening Night Party spoke volumes about the generosity and resilience of our design community. As Los Angeles continued to recover from the wildfires, it was inspiring to see so many rally behind Habitat LA. Our 10th anniversary felt especially meaningful because it showed how design can rise to meet a moment—with creativity, compassion, and a shared purpose.”

Despite rainy weather, attendees enjoyed an energetic evening of design previews, elevated food and cocktails, entertainment, and early access to hundreds of furnishings and product offerings. A standout feature was the silent auction, which continued throughout the weekend. Guests bid on designer-curated furnishings displayed in room vignettes across the fair, with all proceeds benefiting the ReBUILD LA™ Recovery Fund.
A highlight of Opening Night was the presentation of the IIDA/WestEdge Design Fair Product Awards and Booth Awards, now in their third year. The awards recognized innovation, visual impact, technical achievement, and excellence in booth design. Winning entries underscored the event’s reputation as a platform for cutting-edge creativity.
On Friday and Saturday, attendees gathered at the Main Stage for a series of panel discussions presented by Pacific Sales Kitchen & Home and co-produced with Convo By Design (CXD). These conversations featured leading industry professionals exploring themes in design, sustainability, architecture, and materials innovation. All sessions were recorded for a 10-episode podcast series scheduled for release in January 2026.
