On the evening of Saturday, July 8, 2023, the Concern Foundation will organize its 48th Annual Block Party on the expansive back lot of Paramount Studios in Hollywood. This highly anticipated event expects a full attendance of 4,000 guests, with a noble objective of raising $2 million in funds for cancer research.

The theme for this year’s gathering shall be “THE LAND BEFORE TIME: THE EXTINCTION OF CANCER.” Moreover, the Kallick Family will be honored with the esteemed Lifetime of Giving Award, while Cedars Sinai Cancer will be acknowledged for their groundbreaking efforts in combating cancer. The backlot streets will come alive with an array of musical performances and interactive entertainment on multiple stages.

Notable acts include the Tom Nolan Band headlining the main stage, D’ City Sound & Events rocking the Yabba Dabba DJ Stage, presented by the Hirsch Family Foundation, and the Vibrato “Grotto” Grill Jazz stage. In addition, guests will have access to various photo studios, lounges, casino-style gaming, and beauty services courtesy of the Beauty Bus Foundation. Undoubtedly, a highlight of the evening will be the online silent and live auctions sponsored by ZACUTO GROUP, showcasing an assortment of unique items and packages. These offerings range from once-in-a-lifetime experiences to concert and event tickets, fine dining opportunities, indulgent staycations, golf packages, and an array of other remarkable items generously donated by members of the community.

For the 17th consecutive year, Concern feels privileged to celebrate The Best of LA 2023® on Los Angeles magazine’s vibrant street. This area will feature well-appointed lounges, captivating photo booths, delectable food stations, and an energetic ambiance for DJ dancing, among other attractions. It is worth noting that Los Angeles magazine will once again make a financial contribution to Concern, wholeheartedly supporting their mission.

The gastronomic delights and refreshing beverages will be plentiful throughout the event.
