The Kinoo Magic Wand was launched at the Soho Grand Hotel in New York. 50 guests were treated to an evening filled with cocktails, hor d’oeuvres and a meet and great with founder Jim Marggraff. Marggraff is best known as the creator of LeapFrog/LeapPad learning systems. The Kinoo Magic Wand will revolutionize child learning with its innovative technology.
In the age of Ipads and Iphones, children have become addicted to screens of all kinds. The Kinoo Magic Wand will make learning fun without the use of any screens. The wand has a variety of activities such as reading, numbers, counting, math, geography, curiosity and overall critical thinking.
The Kinoo Magic app allows parents to customize their wands by downloading software that will mold their child’s development. The wand can also bring paper books to life and teach children how to read. Children can connect with the Kinoo Connect app to play games and do video chats with their family members.
Each wand has three illuminated lights and a speaker. Children will listen to the wand and based on what it says, the child will do a particular action. For one of the dance applications, kids will move their wand back and forth and move to the sound of the music.
Guests were also treated to a photoshoot with celebrity photographer and David’s Guide Publisher David Christopher Lee. Music for the night was provided by DJ Jonny slice.
