On June 1st, Gurus Magazine unveiled its inaugural #30Voices30Days initiative with a flourish. The event began with a VIP daytime Pride Wellness Retreat at the Godfrey Hotel Hollywood’s Element Lounge, followed by a vibrant Pride Cover Launch Party that evening. Hosted by Derek Warburton, the magazine’s founder, the event marked the release of thirty unique covers throughout June, each spotlighting different voices from the LGBTQ+ community. The event was produced by Rachel Wilson.

The retreat saw notable figures such as Emmy Award winner Niecy Nash and Drag Race star Laganja Estranja enjoying luxurious treatments like hydrafacials and massages courtesy of South Bay Plastic Surgeons and R3 Anti Aging Medspa Beverly Hills. Other celebrities, including Valentina of Drag Race Mexico and Cynthia Bailey from RHOA, indulged in beauty enhancements from top-tier professionals.

The celebrations continued with a Pride Bazaar showcasing exquisite jewelry and bespoke merchandise, complemented by delicious rainbow pasta from The Blonde Italian. Amber Walker Events magnificently designed the Poolside Pride Party Lounge, adding an extra layer of elegance to the evening.

The night was further enlivened with performances by Gary Thomas Entertainment and an unexpected duet by Niecy Nash and Jessica Betts.
